Als u een legbord voor boeken of meubelen moet gebruiken, denk er dan altijd aan hoeveel gewicht het moet dragen en hoe groot de items die erop rusten. De keuze van muurbevestigingen is erg belangrijk, evenals de keuze van bevestiging als je een legbord direct aan de muur wilt bevestigen. Een stenen muur, een bakstenen muur of een gipskartonmuur hebben elk specifieke bevestigingen nodig om het gewicht te dragen.
